FAITH
Before I started ninth grade, I really had no connection with Jesus. At that time, I found myself struggling with confidence issues and direction. Everything changed for me when I started my high school career. I was blessed to be able to attend a top Catholic high school in Tampa, called Jesuit, and there I started to realize that I needed something. I felt empty and alone inside. As I went through Intro to Catholicism classes, attended school mass, and learned about the saints, I started to discover that thing I was missing inside was God. So I took initiative, talked to the President of my school, Father Hermes, and asked if I could be fully initiated into the Catholic Church. Today I find that I have become a happier, more confident, and more motivated person. I became involved with Peer Ministry, (of which I am now a Vice President), I became an altar server, and I attended the 3 European Pilgrimages my school held during the summers of 2023, 2024, and 2025 and I am now considered a leader in the faith on campus.
